Thick Walled Ducts (TWD) are characterized by heavy wall microducts and a relatively thin outer sheath. The microducts themselves are rugged enough to protect the fiber cables inside.

Typical dimensions for these TWDs range from 7 mm up to 20 mm, with inner diameters ranging from 3.5 mm to 16 mm.

Ducts with inner diameter of 6 mm or larger have longitudinal grooves on the inside to minimize friction, reduce turbulent air flow and increase blowing distance.

This series of microducts is made with at least 51% recycled or regrind high-quality HDPE, ensuring the best performance and a long lifespan in combination with a lower environmental impact compared to ducts made of virgin materials.
