We are thrilled to announce our attendance at the FTTH conference 2022 in Vienna, Austria.
The world’s largest fibre summit will take place 23-25 May and we look forward to a great conference and meet old and new customers. Come visit us in our booth G16+G17 in Hall B, where we will showcase our FTTH solutions and feature applications, joined by our newest team members from Rehau Telecom.
We are pleased to present the following activities during the conference:
- Monday 23 May, 14:30-17:45, Workshop 17 - Accelerate your fiber built with quality - a hands on workshop
This workshop will give you practical hands-on experience to make your ongoing FTTH rollout a success. We will cover the full FTTH network construction, though focus on the Last mile and in-house cabling, since here most problems occur.
You will receive valuable applicable knowledge on how to blow and install a fiber without delays in a high-quality way. You will first-hand do splices and learn how to best handle fibers. Finally, you will validate and qualify your work with different measurement tools and get insights into the different automation approaches, which will further speed up your deployment.
This workshop is both aimed at Operators as well as Contractors, who want to build an FTTH network as fast and efficient as possible, while maintaining a high-quality network and getting ahead of the competition. The workshop is hosted by Hexatronic in collaboration with EXFO and Sumitomo. - Wednesday 25 May, 11.00-12:15, Voices of Industry 5 - The importance of smart cities & homes as fibre roll-out and take-up gathers pace
Peter Lo Curzio, Deputy CTO at Hexatronic, participates and presents “Powered fiber networks, and how to prepare for the unknown”.
Join this presentation to get some thoughtful insights and ideas about future use cases and challenges of the fiber networks. Most of the fiber networks being built today will host not only one single service, rather a various range, which improves the business case. We all know that many new services and functions will be launched during the coming years, increasing the importance for the networks and infrastructure being built today to further lead the way for the coming use cases.
We are looking forward to meeting you there!
