Written by Hexatronic | Mar 5, 2025

We are thrilled to announce our participation in the 2025 FTTH Conference at RAI Amsterdam, Netherlands, from March 25 to 27. As the leading event for Fiber To The Home professionals across Europe, this conference offers a unique platform to connect with industry experts, share knowledge, and explore the latest advancements in fiber technology. Join Hexatronic for the unveiling of new innovative FTTH solutions designed to simplify connecting our societies and keep them connected.

Exciting product releases

Visit booth G06 to see our comprehensive FTTH solutions and Hexatronic's latest products. Discover how we are developing solutions to simplify and accelerate installations while ensuring the highest quality of networks. At this year's conference, we are proudly introducing two new products:

  • A new generation of Viper: We listened to the technicians in the field when developing an upgrade of our popular Viper Micro Cable. The result is a new high-performance micro cable for installers who want to go fast, speeding up the installation and lowering costs at the same time. You definitely want to swing by our booth to see this product in action!
  • Duct Integrity Test Kits: Our new Duct Integrity Test Kits are designed to offer a full solution for testing your microduct integrity. Ask us about it or visit the Tools and Techniques workshop to explore.

Our team of experts will be on hand to discuss your projects and guide you to our innovative solutions.

Workshops and presentations

During the FTTH Conference in Amsterdam, we are proud to host and participate in several workshops:

  • Tools and Techniques to Secure the Quality of Your Fiber Network
    This
workshop will occur on March 25, 2025, from 09:30-11:00 in Workshop Room 5. Join the workshop to hear insights from CityFibre, Hexatronic/Knet, Plumettaz, and EXFO.

Investing in a fiber network is a long-term commitment, but neglecting issues such as duct system integrity and optical infrastructure quality can compromise its value. Ignoring these challenges can result in expensive repairs, decreased performance, and network downtime. Fortunately, new tools and techniques now enable operators to address these problems effectively, ensuring network security while optimizing costs, speed, and performance.

    Key takeaways include:
    • Discovering how CityFibre secures the quality of its fiber network in the UK.
    • Learning innovative strategies for ensuring duct infrastructure integrity with passive solutions.
    • Exploring cost-efficient, safe, and fast-blown cable installation techniques.
    • Understanding how an end-to-end network lifecycle test strategy combining centralized and field testing leads to faster deployments, higher quality, and greater operational efficiency.

  • Fiber Optic Trainings in Europe
This workshop will take place on March 25, 2025, from 09:30-11:00 in Workshop Room 7. The session will focus on the importance of investing in education and training for FTTH networks. The workshop highlights hands-on training and education for future technicians, including women in fiber optic technical roles. Best practices from different countries will be shared, and we are happy to announce that Ralf Winterling will talk about our experiences building FTTH networks in the German market.

  • Enhancing Network Efficiency and User Experience
The panel will occur on March 27, 2025, from 09:30 to 10:45 in Conference Room 2. Senior leaders, including Christian Priess, Head of Central Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Submarine Cable business at Hexatronic, will convene to discuss
how to optimize fiber networks, improve user experience, and maximize returns on FTTH investments.
