A New Member Joins the Hexatronic Team in Finland
01 Dec 2016
Hexatronic’s expansion in Finland continues, as the demand for future proof and powerful broadband networks grows rapidly.
The office in Helsinki now welcomes Jori Renfors as a Technical Sales Manager. He is a successor to Marko Merenheimo, who will continue his work for Hexatronic NZ in Wellington, New Zealand, beginning in February 2017.
“As a technical specialist with years of experience in broadband expansion within Finland, Jori will be a great resource in advising and supporting our customers in the Finnish and Baltic market”, says Håkan Bäckström, Vice President and Sales and Marketing Manager at Hexatronic Cables and Interconnect Systems.

Jori has a background as Project Manager at Sonera, one of the major network owners in Finland. At Hexatronic he will support customer projects, in the field as well as being a technical advisor.
“I really look forward to meeting customers and working with the Hexatronic product range, which I think makes network employment effective and future proof”, says Jori Renfors.
Traditionally, direct buried cables have been the most common technique used in broadband networks. As a Project Manager, Jori was part of the introduction of micro ducts and cables in Finland. One of the solutions chosen was the Hexatronic Nano Cable in combination with thick walled micro ducts. The high quality and wide temperature range, easy deployment and handling, as well as training, field support and customer contact throughout the project were important factors for the choice of solution.
